No doubt that the family plays an effective role in bringing up the individual and that the ways followed by parents are the basic axis on which the individual's personality and ability of adjustment on the different life fields is based.

Through it, the individual recognizes the behavioral patterns which he will be committed to in his future and they help him to adapt to the outer environment as well as personal adjustment or can be a cause of his frustration, inability of adjustment and feeling insecure.

This is because the late childhood stage is one of the most important stages in man’s life and it is the most dangerous being the basis of all the stages following it.

It is a transitional period from the stage of childhood to the stage of adolescence.

Methods: the study depends on the comparative correlative descriptive method.

Sample: the sample included 80 children with social learning difficulties: 40 males and 40 females aged from (9 to 12) years.

Instruments: primary data form, scale of non- verbal IQ, Assiut University (by Taha El- Mestekawy, 2000), the socio- economic and cultural scale (by Mohamed El- Behairy, 2002), scale of social learning disabilities (by Ashraf Abd El- Ghaffar, 2004), scale of differentiation of self (by researcher), scale of psychological security (by researcher).

Statistical methods: Pearson’s correlation coefficient, mediums, standard deviation, t- tests for significant differences between independent groups, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient using SPSS program.

There are significant statistical differences between the average degrees of the study sample males and females with social learning difficulties on the side of males, and there are significant statistical differences between average degrees of the study sample males and females with social learning difficulties on the psychological security scale on the side of males.
