Internal guarantees are necessary to enforce the rules of international humanitarian law, States must accede and abide by international humanitarian conventions.

It also harmonizes its national legislation with its international commitments and then publishes the rules of this law as widely as possible.

In this paper we try to examine the contribution of national guarantees in ensuring respect for the rules of international humanitarian law.
