Abstract EN

This study is a trial to reveal modernism Phenomena in the Jordanian Poet, Sultan Zghool's poetry with all its fertile dimensions, its artistic reflections and what poetry produces to rescue the besieged ego in an attempt to reach confrontation with one's self and the outer world by expressing gradually the poetry found in the sub-concious, breaking the silence frontier so as to merge human dimensions that aremore glittering andmore related to real situation.

In his second collection of poetry, ( Shiverings on Autumn's Body) issued in 2007, Sultan Zgohul followed what he planned in the first collection (Funeralizing my friend, Death) issued in 2004.

He continued the uprising of the effectiveness of the linguistic item, a purposeful rebel against the expressive Lingustic form, in order to provide his recipients with enjoyment and surprise after having gone far away from the familiar linguistic structures to touch the spiritual side of the language and its expressive semantic forms.

The poet's fondness of the roared rhythm of life and his wish to part fromthis real situation gave hima clear vision that enabled himto grant his vocabulary the impression of the semantic explosion and the compassionate appeal in addition to acknowledge the depths of life and to deal withDeath as a real life.
