This paper aims to reveal the importance of the manufacturing industry in Algeria, through measuring its contribution in the gross domestic product, hence its contribution towards the creation of valueadded in the national economy.
As well as comparing the fulfilled growth rates in this industrial sector with the economic development rates in Algeria in order to realize how their impact on the national economy is.
The paper concludes by analyzing the obtained results and suggesting what we consider as worthwhile in evaluating the current circumstances.
