Abstract EN

The world faces today a serious financial crisis which has proved the fragility of the economic and financial systems and the uselessness of the policies and measures taken by the governments of those countries despite the injection of large amounts of liquidity in the financial markets to put an end to the disastrous consequences of the crisis.

Such policies and measures are, if effective in the short term, not of much use in the medium and long terms.

The catastrophic failure of the Eastern economic systems has drawn attention towards the Islamic economic system since the Islamic finance is most effective, stable and related to the economic development than the traditional finance based on usury (interest).
