عوامل نمو الشركات الصناعية الخاصة الجزائرية : دراسة تطبيقية باستخدام نموذج "Higgins"

Abstract EN

The study aims to investigate the factors that affect the sustainable growth of Algerian firms, the current study was on sample of (46) private industrial firms in Algeria during the period from (2009-2014), the researcher develop a standardized model, depend on simple and multiple regression to define the effects of the independent variables which are profitability, leverage, and current ratio on the dependent variable which is Higgins’s sustainable growth rate, by adding two control variables: the firm age and firm size.

The findings of this study indicate that the sustainable growth of Algerian private industrial firms is affected by profitability and current ratio.

But the study results didn’t show any relationship between the rest of variables and the sustainable growth rate.

Based on these results, the study made recommendations that can be adopted by interested parties in financial decision-making.
