Abstract EN

There are many tools of lexical development (derivation acronym, arabicism and translation….)The degree of its function vary from one language to another, and this is done according to the requirements of the lexicon (and all its kinds) and the needs of the speaker .

Given the deteriorating state of the arabic lexicon today, it became an obligation for its users to make efforts to revive and improve all its aspects and make it up to date with the requirements of the present age.

The tools that might be used to fulfill this aim are, mainly translation, which became the only way at this moment of getting data and information, according to George Matory’s when the Arabic terminological apparatus is broken down, giving thorough monopoly and domination of valuable imported texts, which were translated, over Arabic lexical research.
