Abstract EN

This research aims to examine the role played by SWOT analysis in improving the organizational performance of the institution focusing on the concept of internal analysis (strengths and weaknesses) and external analysis (opportunities and threats) and also by discussing the analysis matrix SWOT model, in addition focusing on the concept of organizational performance and its most important criteria.

The research contains an empirical study of a sample formed by workers of Matiji and Sonelgaz in Mostganem, and it is identified by 54 distributing questionnaire addressed to the staff of the two enterprises.

The most important results obtained are the presence of a weak positive correlation between the variables of the study.
