Linguists generally have different points of view concerning multilingualism, but most of them believe that this phenomenon -with its disadvantages- causes negative effects to economy and development of societies which speak many languages and this after some statistics presented by searchers.

The Arab world as well as some other countries is living this problem, a strategy created by the colonialism so as to keep and conserve its language, in these regions.
