Abstract EN

BADRE CHAKER is famous of the modern Arab poesy; this unhappy poet had along suffered from a chronic disease until he passed away.

In his writings BADRE CHAKER SAYAB was telling about his village “Haikur” which missed because of his immigration abroad, his nostalgic feeling for his childhood village, the nature and the places where he grew up.

His main interests are for the political side, all political events due to his belonging to the communist party.

BADRE CHAKER had a heavy literary weight in Iraq and in the entire Arab world and he will stay so within the ordinary people, journalism and literary circles.
