Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of developing leadership skills in the process of strategic implementation, in the public company for Textile Industries at Damascus and its countryside.

And dealt with six dimensions to the development of leadership skills, namely: programs to develop leadership skills, empowerment skills, communication skills, motivation skills, promoting a culture of shared values of the organization skills and management the meeting skills.

And dealt also with four dimensions of the strategic implementation of practical factors: the translation of the strategy map can be implemented, management style, the adequacy of the organizational structure of the process of strategic implementation, and finally systems that accompany the process of strategic implementation.

A sample study, all the directors of administrative levels of the three (senior management, middle management, directly management) at the public company for Textile Industries at Damascus and its countryside, where there are 270 Directors, where the researcher distributed questionnaire designed for this purpose on all of these companies residing in Damascus and its countryside's eight companies in addition to the Public Institution, at Damascus, was used in the eventual identification of 231 of the analysis are equivalent to 85.55% of the total questionnaires distributed.
