Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the extent of involving multiple intelligences in the science curriculum in the last episode of basic education in the republic of Yemen.

To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher has prepared a list of multiple intelligences and after making sure of its validity and reliability, the science curriculum for the ninth primary class (the two sections) was analyzed as the sample of the science curriculum at this stage.

The tool of the study was content analysis form, and the researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and has reached to the following results: Multiple intelligences were involved in different proportions, and the linguistic intelligence has the first rank in the science curriculum (42.19%) if compared to the rest of other intelligences.

The mathematical intelligence (logical) has the second rank (21.5%).Then the kinesthetic intelligence (physical) has the third rank (18.10%), and the visual intelligence (spatial)has the fourth rank (16%).The interpersonal intelligence has the fifth rank (2.07%), while the environmental intelligence (natural)has the last rank (14.0%).Intrapersonal intelligence (contemplative) was not included in the science curriculum for the ninth grade.
