Recently, Science process development is one of most important science teaching objectives, because they are intellectual skills used by learners towards investigating the knowledge.

This study aimed to investigate the extent of the 11th Grade students’ acquiring of science process skills in biology with regard to gender and type of science process.

The study population were 535 students from Shinas schools of North Albatinah, and study sample were 110 students selected randomly by strata technique.

The study tool was science process test which consists 18 multiple questions.

The content validity of the test was measured, and internal consistency reliability was measured by Richardson 20 formula, and the reliability coefficient was 0.79.

The study findings showed that the students’ performance in science process was low, and the total percentage was 51.5%, which is unsatisfied.

The first place was variables control with 70%, whereas inference ranked last place with 43.9%.

In addition, findings showed that there are statistical significance on acquiring science process at α ≥ 0.05 between male and female with favor of female, and a statistical significance at α ≥ 0.05 among science process with favor of integrated operations
