The research aimed to design and implement a proposed program to alleviate some academic problems among students in the preparatory year at Jazan University.

In the theoretical framework, the most academic problems experienced by Saudi university students were identified and classified according to their dimensions.

The sample consisted of (28) students from the preparatory year, Jazan University; (14) in the control group, and (14) in the experimental group.

The results indicated that the most academic problems affecting the students in the sample were: test anxiety, difficulties of time regulation, forgetfulness and dispersion during study, problems of memorization and poor behavior in difficult situations, and also found statistically significant differences between the average of the control and experimental groups after applying the proposed program In the degrees of academic problems in favor of the control group where the value of (-9.46), significant at (0.01) and the search came out with a set of recommendations
