Abstract EN

This research deals with the ownership of ownership.

It is well known that the creator of the work is the original owner of the work.

However, there are other people preparing the owners of the work, although they had not originally authored, as the case in the collective works or shared.

And therefore it requires us to look a statement on the concept of the term "author" and then look is the owner of the copyright The copyright owner has knowledge of its importance in determining the rights enjoyed by that owner.

There are rights to material and moral rights.

The question in this research is it possible to be granted legal person moral rights or is it that these limited rights only natural person.

To answer these questions, we decided to look at this subject.

However, copyright ownership has been addressed in international conventions and treaties, such as the Berne Convention and the TRIPs Agreement, which did not organize these treaties to Iraq so far.

And that there is one law in Iraq , the name of the Copyright Law No.

(3) of 1971 amended in 2004.

The research methodology will be a comparative analysis and the purpose is to identify weaknesses and decreases in the right of the current Iraqi copyright law by comparison with international law and domestic laws, French and English laws.

And therefore I believe that copyright law needs to be Iraqi-depth study in this area with a view to a better understanding of the issues surrounding the ownership of the works.
