There are several components that are combined to form a narrative text; these interact with each other creating a unity of narrative value reflected through the position and the vision of the creator.

From a deeper angle, this means that through the normal general reading of the artistic work, this latter is seen as a unified, harmonized, structured artwork.

But the specialized reading, however, studies each component alone.

Therefore, we may not be overemphasized if we say that the time, as one of these components, is the most important pillar in the narrative structure.

It is the general framework which revolves different narrative techniques, so that there is no story-telling and no characters without time, and of course no language without time, since the two are strongly linked together.

So, what is “time” in narration?
