The objective of this research paper to show the role of governance (political, economic and social) on FDI flows in the economies of Arab Maghreb using panel data from the period 1996 to 2016.
According to our empirical study, we concluded that traditional economic determinants are more important than the institutional and political determinants of FDI, except that the rule of law variable has a positive impact on FDI flows and is statistically significant.
