Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the financial structure on the profitability of commercial banks A Case study of society General Algeria over the period2005-2014 ,The importance of this study comes from primary objective of the commercial banks, which is to maximize the profitability and from the importance of the financial decisions regarding the selection of the composition of the financial structure in commercial banks.

To achieve the objectives of this study we used simple regression and correlation method to test hypotheses.The resluts of this study there is impact of the financial structure on the bank's profitability, which was reached that the financial structure measured by total debt to total assets has a positive effect on the profitability of the bank measured with return on assets and return on equity by taking advantage of tax benefits provided the debt.
