The present study deals with the obstacles of university research among the students of Shakra University in the administrative, cognitive and artistic aspects.

This study was conducted at the University of Shakra on a sample of faculty members and students reached (416).

This study derives its importance from the important role played by the university research in the roles of the university student, who directs the student in implementing a number of obstacles aimed at identifying them To develop the performance of university research.

The study found that there are administrative obstacles faced by students, the most important of which is the weakness of the university library equipment and the weakness of the student's experience in the field of research.

The most technical and cognitive obstacles were the lack of courses offered to students in the field of writing university research.

The differences in the presence of technical and cognitive obstacles are attributed to the academic year and the differences are directed towards the fourth year students and the academic Assistant Professor.
