The semantic plays an important role in the automatic treatment of the Arabic language, no deep treatment of Arabic texts can be done without sufficient information on the meaning of the words which build those texts.

The automatic treatment of the Arabic language needs a large amount of information on different aspects of a language.

This information should be organized and arranged in a specific order.

This information covers the words and their different meanings and morphology and what should be used or not with the word and the similar or opposite words or each mean which leads to make the word accurate .
