Abstract EN

Talking about the lexical text is the fundamental theme of contemporary lexicography.

On the opposite and despiteits importance, it is not yet discussed by many researchers in lexicology.

All the same, the first attempt remains that of some lexicographers who wanted to study its theoretical part.

We state by here Mohmmed Rachad El Hamzaoui, and Ibrahim Ben Mourad, who have pointed at this topic of the lexicography.

Dictionary is therefore, a text by itself that has its own basic and constant structure a small text or the basic text.

Dictionary is constituted of thousand and rather Million of small texts that form the big text by the end.

On the other hand, if we come to compare Dictionary to other kinds of texts, we shall name it the biggesttext by reference to both quality and quantity since it contains all linguistic levels ; Phonetics, Syntax, Morphology, Symantics, Rhetoric, Stylistics, Literary and Historical linguistics.
