This working paper aims to study and analyze the structural imbalances in the oil economies and the degree of association of oil resources, by studying fluctuations in fiscal revenue and the impact of these imbalance on exchange rates, in addition, this paper analyze the expansion of the state's role in the oil economies, which shows through the evolution of government expenditure and its impact on the balance of payments.
