Abstract EN

The topic of the development of the agricultural sector is considered among the strategic themes which has a great interest by the states, as a fundamental pillar for achieving food security and supporting the economic, the social and the political stability for the country .The matter which requires attention necessity of the Arab world with this sector, in order to address the problem of malnutrition and reduce the bill of food import.

Therefore, throughout this research we will focus on the study of the reality of the food security in the Arab world and the status of the agricultural sector in the Arab countries, with the presentation of some of the mechanisms that contribute in the development of the agricultural sector and achieving Arab food security.
