The reflection on the production and the exchange aroused only late a lighting on the functioning of the change.
Today, this one is in the center of the economic policies which consider it as active variable.
This is the way the devaluation which is an action (share) on the currency(change) is moved forward as a way(means) to restructure an economy.
However, if any devaluation is a decision in which the objective is to decrease the value of a currency(change), the contents of the same value remain subject of controversies.
Why is the value of the Algerian dinar so insignificant, in comparison, with the Tunisian dinar or still with the Moroccan dirham? The euro is officially exchanged for 12 Algerian dinars, while the exchange rate on the parallel market exceeds (overtakes) 170 DA for one Euro.

La réflexion sur la production et l’échange n’a suscité que tardivement un éclairage sur le fonctionnement de la monnaie.
Aujourd’hui, celle-ci est au centre des politiques économiques qui la considèrent comme variable active.
La monnaie n’est pas une suiveuse de l’activité économique nous, disait A.

C’est ainsi que la dévaluation qui est une action sur la monnaie est avancée comme un moyen pour restructurer une économie.
Cependant, si toute dévaluation est une décision dont l’objectif est de diminuer la valeur d’une monnaie, les résultats obtenus restent sujet de controverses.
Pourquoi la valeur du dinar algérien est-elle si insignifiante, en comparaison, avec le Dinar tunisien ou encore avec le Dirham marocain ? L'euro est échangé officiellement contre 12 Dinars algériens, alors que le taux de change sur le marché parallèle dépasse les 170 DA pour 1 Euro
