Abstract EN

This study confirms that in spite of the considerable efforts made by Algeria, to enhance its investment climate to attract foreign direct investment and to integrate into the global economy is still less attractive to foreign investors compared to some European countries and Eastern countries and Central Europe as Kilmer and Poland, the Czech Republic.

This paper points out that the favorite fields for foreign investors are cement, building materials, and energy and gas sector, as well as those of the banks and services, tourism and hotel sectors.

It shows also that the Algerian stock remains weak for many reasons mainly: the lack of economic incentives encouraging the development of trade between Algeria and the rest of the world.

Finally, it concludes that to attract foreign direct investment to Algeria, in order to develop the national economic and making benefit, requires a set of measures shortly and afterwards, and high performing human capital is one of the most important factors to foreign direct investment attractiveness.
