Abstract EN

The goal of this research is to clarify the possibility of resolving the problem of financing of the small and medium enterprises in Algeria by Islamic finance system, the fact that the latter is an alternative funding system radically different from conventional finance, which failed, and through the length of his experience in solving the problem of financing the enterprise system.

To do that, we tried to test and analyze the hypothesis of research through empirical study, and we built a questionnaire form which contains a series of questions dealing with the views and opinions of cadres of the bank on the subject of research.

After the statistical treatment of questionnaire, we concluded that the Algerian Islamic banks in theory, can play an effective role in the financing of small and medium enterprises to the underlying Islamic finance industry of the principles, and the offerings of various financial products .

However, the reality is different, where we show the limited contribution of the Algerian Al Baraka Bank in the financing of small and medium enterprises, due to many problems faced by the Islamic banks, especially the inadequacy of legislation and laws with the nature of these banks, as the Algerian banking law does not take into account the specificity of Islamic Banks and their activities.
