Abstract EN

This study sheds light on the concept of ‘Property Preservation’ as one of the main objectives of Islamic law and clarifies its applications in the arena of medical treatment.

The study adopts an analytical descriptive method.

It concludes that preservation of property can mark different contemporary eventualities such as: allowing cooperative medical insurance to ease social welfare, preventing the sale and purchase of human organs as it contradicts the sense of life and makes man subject to financial transactions, which, in consequence, creates a variety of social crises pertaining to human trafficking, child abuse and deprivation of people.

The gifts awarded by nongovernmental health companies to the workers in health centers, as part of their advertisement activities, can be diversified in legal characterizations according to the regulations of law practiced in the country and based on the intentions of both parties.
