The movement of Algerians emigrated to France, especially during the period 1914-1962, with distinct stages.

This discrepancy in the number of immigrants is attributed to a number of motives, most of which were related to major historical events, the most important of which were the two World Wars and the November Revolution of 1954, Enabled many of the newly formed political parties such as the North African Star to work to raise awareness and organize these immigrants and to focus their attention on supporting their national cause.
