Abstract EN

Although the world has moved into what is called "post- Feminism", we still witness the Arabian woman struggling to get her complete rights in such masculine societies in the Middle East.

My view point on this topic alongside with my academic interest in Korean literature were the basis of my search about the unique, well known South Korean poetess who was called during the 1980 as "the mother of Korean feminism movement", she is Kim SeungHee.

The paper started with the most important features for women`s writing, then the second step was reading poems from Kim SuengHee`s poetry book "Life Within an Egg" trying to find out that features through it.

The poems showed the political and social interest for the poetess throughout her concern to introduce the difficulties that humans struggled through this era, the way of writing without fear the social taboos, the biological and psychological suffering that women live with in this world and her serious looking for freedom for her society and for herself.

The poems didn’t express just some kind of woman crises in this world but behind that the poems embodied the human crises as well.

Women`s lost dreams, their looking for peace and safety and her complains from cruelty of life all express what human being is suffering in this world.
