Arabic language and its curriculum in the project of reforming the educational system in Algeria Between the constituents of national identity and the challenges of globalization Algeria as other countries, at the beginning of the third millennium, faced the problem of the global tide, which brought with it many changes at the level of political patterns, economic systems, social values and cultural frameworks, which hastened the reform of the educational system to adapt to the situation and familiarity with the strategies of globalization and the ownership of means and tools; It is obvious the role played by the educational system in the rehabilitation of young people and prepare it to be an active participant in the advancement of his country to keep pace with this global tide.

This can only be achieved through the development of educational curricula and in keeping with international developments, while preserving the elements of national identity so as not to melt and fade in this global movement, which seeks to eliminate all barriers at all levels of political, economic, social, cultural and even linguistic ones.

This study comes to highlight the reality of the Arabic language and its curricula in the project of reforming the educational system, and answer the following problems: - How did educational reform look at the linguistic issue in general and the Arabic language in particular? -Did the Arabic language curriculum, under this reform, ensure the preservation of the fundamentals of our national identity, including the Arabic language? -What is the share of Arabic language curricula from reform? and have these curricula been able to meet the requirements of globalization and learn about the strategies of science and technology?
