The folk tale is an ideal medium to educate interculturality in EFL classrooms because it refers to a heritage related to different cultures and civilizations, which the teacher presupposes will be echoed by the learner.
But also on the basis of a hypothesis: a better knowledge of the other must allow to live better together, to respect it.

Le conte populaire est un support idéal d’éduquer à l’interculturalité en classe de FLE parce que faisant référence à un patrimoine relatif aux cultures et civilisations différentes, dont l’enseignant présuppose qu’il fera écho chez l’apprenant.
Mais également sur la base d’une hypothèse : une meilleure connaissance de l’Autre doit permettre de mieux vivre ensemble, de le respecter.
