Abstract EN

This article aims to highlight the most important reasons that engage the Algerian Economic Firms in an effort to obtain the certification of Quality Management System (ISO 9000), and the most important benefits derived from this process, through an exploratory study on a sample of 40 Algerian Economic Firms.

The study concluded that the reasons for this endeavor are multiple and mostly due to external reasons.

and despite some advantages obtained, these benefits have no statistically significant relationship with motivations and reasons for adopting this gait .
