Abstract EN

This study seeks to identify the Egyptian youth uses the Internet to radio as a form of new media, and the features and forms of such use, and what are the most favorite stations and the quality of favorite programs for them and the reasons for this preference, as well as monitoring the most important features of use and Egyptian youth interaction with the Internet Radio, and their goals and motivations of this interaction, and how this interaction, and its causes and what are the most important issues and topics that they are interested in and watch it and gratifications achieved as a result interact with it, and what are the most important of exposure to these radio stations.

The study was launched in the framework of uses and gratifications where the application form on the field study number theory (390) Single of Egyptian youth from the age (18-35 years) who listen to Internet radio stations.

The results: were the most important reasons for choosing the subjects to listen to exciting ", and then the radio over the Internet; came first reason "because it is secondly, "because they broadcast songs I love," and then came the third reason, "because they provide me with information and new knowledge", then the fourth, "because they provide me life experiences.” And the most important motives listen respondents radio stations came online as follows: First, listen to the latest songs, Second: Entertainment, Third: leisure, Fourth: to get to know the most important news of the moment they occur, Fifth: to get to know young people problems and solutions.

While most came gratifications exposure to Internet radio stations; feeling comfortable and relaxing and extroversion, and escape from the everyday problems of life, and spend leisure time in the entertainment and fun.
