Abstract EN

There is a very close relation between the population of the administrative districts of the governorate of Lattakia, and the distance separating each district from the center of the governorate.

The more distant the district is from the city center, the less is the population there.

This study adopts some indicators to show the population distribution in the various districts and zones of Lattakia, and to show the type of this distribution: population distribution primacy ratio/indicator, primacy guide, interaction degree, distance-of -district –from- city indicator
