Abstract EN

The main objective for the establishment of protected natural reserves is to protect the natural resources for the benefit of the present generation, while preserving the capacity and development potential to serve the needs and ambitions of future generations ،and to limit the deterioration in environmental forestry eco-systems and sources of biological diversity to achieve sustainable development.

We recognized the risks of the degradation of environmental resources in Aldmnh natural reserve, so a study with field surveys has been conducted to extract tangible results ،and to reach recommendations to rehabilitate the region ،starting with identification of the conditions and assessment of the evolution of the vegetation cover .

The study is based on a scientific methodology to reach quantitative and qualitative measures and indicators, since measurements performed on the natural vegetation cover is one of the pillars of the development and maintenance of vegetation in different habitats .

The study results showed that the forest area in the reserve decreased greatly due to human encroachment and excessive depletion of resources.

This continuous depletion of natural vegetation could lead to a deepening of the deterioration of ecosystem of the reserve.
