Fatimid Caliphs played a big role in the history of Ismaili requisition since the Fatimid Caliphate was built upon ideological basis that contravene those of the opposed states in the east (Abbasid Caliphate), Fatimid Caliphate depended on Imam's percept and was interested on spreading their doctrine because it's the thing they derived their power from and influence on.

Political assassinations had a great impact on changing the path and results of this requisition.
