In the twentieth century, the vision dimensions of visible world in all its forms and phenomena is not only restricted to superficial view, but it goes beyond physical phenomena, that is a movement from the world of nature to supernatural, where invisible facts and all about feeling and subconscious get into the depth human conscience through expressive dimensions.

According to the data and liberal concepts of this age, artists have chosen ceramics to shape new works, far from the traditional concept and utility limits of ceramics, using backed clay as an expressive medium to convey their emotions, senses and intellectual and artistic opinions.

Thus revealing uniquely and differently expressive and aesthetic values that, not only pertain to ceramics as a material but have enriched the plastic art as a whole through symbolic and expressive works of art.
