Abstract EN

This study aimed to demonstrate the contribution of Islamic banks - Arab Islamic International Bank - to finance Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), as well as to identify the challenges and the advantages of financing (SMEs).For Islamic Banks, to identify the directions of the future Arab Islamic International Bank towards (SMEs).

To achieve the objective, qualitative approach was used to achieve a deep understanding of the role of the Arab Islamic International Bank in financing (SMEs).

Using the purposive sample, a series of interviews were conducted with managers from various managerial levels, working with Arab Islamic International Bank, and then asking them questions in the unstructured interview.

The study concluded that there is an effective role of the Arab Islamic International Bank in financing (SMEs), and that the bank achieves many advantages of financing these projects, most notably to contribute to moving the economic cycle and support the local economy.

The study recommended the Islamic Banks have to enhance the banking products and how to obtain them.
