English Abstract

This research paper aims to identify the concept of the tourism security within the general concept of security, and its role in the tourism attraction anytime, anywhere.

All agree that security is the first and most important pillar and the cornerstone on which the states of the world underpin to meet the challenges, and face all the difficulties, as well as, it is a key raw material for the tourism industry.

The various components of security are important tools to attract the investment and the outer capitals to create development, industry and service projects including tourism.

This research paper indicates that security and tourism are two identical and inseparable twins, i.e., there is no tourism without security, and there are many examples for that through certain countries that suffer from insecurity leading to the deterioration of tourism due to the fear of tourists who refrain from visiting these countries or regions as tourism destinations within their trips.

Moreover, foreign investors abandon investments in these states which leads to declining tourism revenues and the lack of employment opportunities in this sector, and thus to reducing the tourism contribution to the gross national income leading to decreasing the level of the individual income and worsening the citizens’ social level.
