Abstract EN

Contemporary criminal policies have tended to adopt alternative methods as a means of resolving criminal disputes.

The increase in the rate of crimes has led to the multiplication of the State's use of its right to use public proceedings.

This has led to the exhaustion of the judiciary and the depletion of its human and material resources.

The most important of which is the criminal mediation, which has become an important role in the resolution of disputes, especially those arising from minor crimes, as well as its role in consecrating the meaning of restorative justice and the privatization of criminal proceedings, so we find the Algerian legislator adopted mediation as an alternative Of the Public Prosecution within the provisions of Order 15-02 issued on 23/07/2015 amended and supplemented by Order 66- 155 including the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as Law 15-12 of 15/07/2015 on the protection of the child.
