This article is based on the efforts of one of, Algeria's critics after independence, it is the critic, Dr.

Mohammed Msayef After having exposed a part of his biography, we treated the most important intellectual currents that influenced this criticism.

Thus, we approached the engagement and ideology of his criticism by raising some issues related to [literary criticism.

Such as its methodology and tools, and we concluded the study by presenting some applications in the fied of poetry, news and some questions of critical criticism.
