Abstract EN

This study deals with (news coverage about forming Iraqi government in al-Zawraa newspaper).

the period of the study tackles a very important stage in Iraq because of the political conflicts between all active and main parties in Iraq.

moreover, there was an increase in violence all over the country and what are the challenges that may face the efforts to form this government especially after the advances made by the terrorist groups and their control on large swathes in several provinces in Iraq.

the scholar depends in his study on the available theoretical material as references.

the scholar designed also a form to analyze the contents of the newspaper (al-Zawraa).

the form consists of (6) main groups with minor groups for each of these main groups.

the goals of the study can be summed in the following points : 1.

how al-Zawraa newspaper was interested in the news of forming the government.

2.

the sources of the news that the newspaper relied on in its news coverage concerning forming the Iraqi government.

3.

revealing the most important subjects the newspaper focused on concerning the subject of the study.
