Abstract EN

Many researches has appeared to work on text thresholds and meanings .This interesting axis is the question of many researchers who has focused on it since 1970's such as Poetics, Semiotics , Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis theories.

Thresholds' text is the main topic in literary criticism.

It is a phenomenon that has to be studied because it is the first thing that is received and because it guides the act of reading itself .

It helps to understand the text in its explicit and implicit meanings especially short stories that include a lot of these thresholds.

They are responsible in recognizing the text generic identity.
