Abstract EN
Through this paper, we will endeavour to demonstrate the reality of the Arabic Language in the field of teaching by presenting an overview on the Communicative Approach of the language.
Also, we will talk about some characteristics of the teaching of Arabic, especially the learning difficulties that learners encounter during their learning process.
Specifically, the aforementioned learning difficulties concern the explanation of the phenomena of the Arabic language at the vocal, lexical, structural, semantical, and communicative levels.
Furthermore, we will demonstrate the causes that lead to the aforesaid difficulties.
In the end, we will point out that Modern Linguistics is a pivotal, referential field in the didactic research of the Arabic language .
