Abstract EN

This study offers a critical view of the book "Literature: issues and problems" which is written by the Moroccan critic Youssef Elidrissi, that we have established two sections in which we dealt with this academic work by presentation and assessment.

We wanted to treat the matters and problems of literature as one of the most complex research issues, trying to detect the status of literature in the critical lesson in general and in the eyes of the critic Youssef Elidrissi in particular, we have also directed our faces to this topic owing to conflict of the general concept of the literature as one of the main principles in order to enter any creative text whether in prose or poetry, the multiplicity of visions about the text in various scientific fields had a role in the formation of this critical topic, especially since these critic efforts did not agree on the definition of a special literary text as a holistic approach
