Crime is one of the oldest social phenomena that man has know and suЊered from its evils and tried to use various methods to address or from spreading.

crime has evolved in terms of type and methods of implementation in line with the social, economic, cultural and technological developments.

Їe methods used to fight and prevent them, has evolvedas well.

In this field study, we address some of the aspects of the phenomenon of recidivism crime in in the Algerian society, its dimensions and the reasons leading to it, as well as the methods of dealing with it and will suggest diЊerent ways to address of combat and prevent it.
