The objective of this study is to analyze the current situation of the upgrading program for small and medium-sized enterprises, which has been adopted by the Algerian government to improve the performance and competitiveness of the Algerian companies.
when analyzing the statistics, the results show that the achievements of the Algerian upgrading program were very low compared to the planned goal.
this is mainly due to the lack of a strategic vision among business managers, bureaucratic problems and also the financial problems associated with this upgrading operation.
