« kodama ben djaafer » was one of the most arabic critics effected by the greek philosophy, and more precisely by the logic of Aristotle.

when he wanted to creat rules to control poetry depending on logical priciples, and the aim of this study is to follow traces of the poetic notions in the book of « poetry criticism », and search for the overlaps between that and the logic of Aristotle, by going back to the structural divisions, and classifications of kodama.
