Abstract EN

The efforts which aim to emancipation Tunisian woman results in the declaration of « The personal issues magazine » in August 1956.

This law was the first fruit or reward to the struggle of Zaitouna’s educated people in Tunisia who was fighting during the first half of the twentieth centry for the sake of woman’s right in education which was considered as a key to her freedom and to her emancipation from ignorance, racism and degradation.

Woman’s education was also an entrance to the social change and a protection from the division caused by the colonization.But zaitouna’s educated people asked for an education based on ideas which spring from the Quran and the Sunna in order to prevent the Muslim woman from loosing her personality and to avoid the deviation of the corrective approach.

This effort had two sides: a theoretical one started by “Taalbi” in his book “the spirit of freedom in the Quran” and a practical one finished by “Mohamed Salah Ennifer” in his project which aimed to teach the Muslim girl.
