The Jewish presence in Algeria has been known for centuries, as evidenced by studies and books, which proves their existence as indigenous people in North Africa in general and Algeria in particular.
However, with Islam coming to this category, Which was a new stage for the population of Algeria, ended the Ottoman rule and established a colonial regime extending to the French authority (Paris) which had a clear political orientation towards the minorities (in Algeria) ), The most important of which are Algerian Jews.
This study attempts to demonstrate the characteristics of French policy towards the Jews of Algeria through:- Reflections of French policy towards the Jews in Algeria?- The position of the Jews from the French occupation of Algeria?
